The Horse Connection Inc. is a Registered Non-Profit Charitable Organization Since 2001
Our Mission is to provide an educational horseback riding program together with public schools, that empowers students to stay connected with their education. Our program works in partnership with Pembina Trails School Division. This unique program uses the horse as an instrumental tool to co-facilitate the development of important life-skills, self-awareness and personal growth through the process of learning to handle & ride a horse. 



Volunteer Horse Handler Position -  Free Horse Handler Workshop  April 24th & 25th 2012
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • A Child Abuse Form  signed if over 18 years of age
  • Must complete Horse Connection Inc. Horse Handler/Sidewalker Certification Workshop
  • Must read & sign volunteer manual rules & regulations
  • Must have working experience with youth 
  • Must commit to 3 hours once a week for a 10 week Fall  2012 session  (Contact Us)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • A criminal record check is required
  • We are looking for motivated individuals who will contact businessess to ask for donations, public relations, help set up at events seek sponsorships for events 
  • To organize & help out at event listed below  
  • Skills Required Friendly, polite outgoing & innovative and willing to try new things 
  • Skills Gained Leadership, team building public relations, event planning, fundraising
